Big BackSnack Give Back

Harvesters' first-ever Big BackSnack Give Back was a family centered event held at Union Station. The goal was for families to come out and pack bags for children in the community that are struggling with food insecurity. The focus was building awareness and connecting with the community.

I was responsible for creating the look and feel of BBSGB, and I was also the photographer. The BackSnack program provides meals for ALL children, so it was important for me to express that through the design elements.

This event was "first come, first pack" with eight, 20-minute packing shifts, each shift accommodating 22 volunteers. There were also kids activities, food trucks, and music from 94.9 KCMO.
